Advanced Composite Structures Australia has exciting Industry 4.0 news! We were awarded an Australian Business Grant for investing in automation. The business grant comes under the Manufacturing Modernisation Fund!
ACS Australia is investing in new composite material manufacturing capabilities. With the installation of an automated multi-purpose CNC machine. Moreover this will enable us to enhance our manufacturing of Advanced Composite Structures.
We are transitioning towards Industry 4.0. In doing so, we are bringing an automated, multi-purpose, composites manufacturing cell in-house. This includes a three-axis CNC system, complimenting already our 3D Printing Additive manufacturing. Additionally, many of our manufacturing processes can leverage automation. Thus improving our efficiency, quality and reproducibility of products.
Our investment in digital manufacturing and automation will increase revenue. Above all, this will lead to the employment of 10-12 jobs in the next five years!
ACS Australia delivers high value engineering services to local and international customers. As a result, our investment in Industry 4.0 will help us to develop more unique composite solutions.
