Congratulations to Jarrod Hayes-Griss for winning the Young Innovator Scholarship for Civil Industry at the Aerospace Australia Industry Innovation Awards presented at the Australian International Airshow 2017.
Jarrod was recognized for conducting ground-breaking multi-national research into repairing carbon-fibre composite aircraft structures as part of his research at ACS-A and RMIT University.
As reported in Australian Aviation magazine, Avalon 2017 CEO Ian Honnery praised both the high quality of the candidates and Australia’s aerospace industry: “The fact that the awards have been won by such high-quality candidates speaks for the quality of the individuals, companies and organisations making up Australia’s civil and military aerospace industry.”
